The Alberta Chapter of ACI holds numerous events throughout the year to provide members with networking opportunities, access to industry expertise and sharing in real life experiences of those involved in all aspects of the concrete industry. Awards of Excellence in Concrete
The Alberta Chapter of the American Concrete Institute hosts its Awards of Excellence in Concrete event on a biennial basis. The event recognizes outstanding design and construction efforts with in the Alberta concrete industry. 2011 Awards information can be found here.
Monthly chapter meetings are held in both Calgary and Edmonton:
- Luncheon Seminars in October, November (AGM), January, February & April
- Full Day Seminar in March
- Plant/Site visit in May
Meetings tend to include a technical presentation, a sit down lunch and time to refresh your industry contacts and meet new colleagues.
Chapter meetings are held at the Blackfoot Inn in Calgary, and at the Royal Glenora Club in Edmonton. *Please register your attendance at least three full business days prior to the event.
